A beautiful rooftop thanks to artificial grassPosted on: 18th June, 2012
Much of our artificial grass installation work is done in collaboration with contractors and suppliers of other architectural, design or construction services to allow them to push their own creative boundaries and extend their service offering to their clients. There are few better examples of this sort of partnership than the work we completed on a roof top in Crawley, West Sussex.
What was previously an unused space (being a rooftop you can imagine why!) utilised 800 square metres of artificial grass as its key centre point to transform into an outstanding outdoor space for residents of the small surrounding estate. Working to a tight deadline, Perfectly Green’s artificial turf installers laid our Perfect Argyll product to create a lush, relaxing environment that will be of great use to the residents all year round.
Of course, artificial grass on this occasion proved to be the perfect solution thanks to its many benefits. As anyone who has shared communal gardens in the past will know, maintenance is tricky to achieve without paying expensive contract fees to third parties and managing those resources can be even harder. However, thanks to the use of artificial grass, this area needs little maintenance, no watering and of course no mowing ever! And we’re sure you’ll agree, using grass in combination with the patio, rather than a solid concrete surface, only adds to the relaxing and comfortable appearance of the garden.
