Bye Bye Mud at Milton MoundPosted on: 18th June, 2012
Milton Mount playgroup in Poundhill in Crawley, West Sussex had been having a nightmare with their outdoor recreational area during playtime. Because their natural lawn was so difficult to maintain, given that they also had to contend with looking after the children, the whole area over time had become a little unloved. Unfortunately this meant that throughout the muddy winter months the poor children were cooped up inside.
Artificial grass however came to the rescue once again! Now, the 115 square metre area is covered in our Perfect Hampshire artificial turf, providing a soft and durable playing surface that the children will love all year round.
You can see from the pictures in the gallery below that some groundwork had to be completed to create a flat playing surface for the children. Of course, it is possible to lay artificial turf on an unever surface, but this extra little touch provided by the Perfectly Green team ensures that the environment stays as safe as possible for the young children. Our guys also installed a footpath through the play area to make it as easy as possible for parents to get in and out with their push chairs.
Milton Mount Playgroup is now over the moon with the results, allowing the children to enjoy being outdoors even more. The parents are pretty chuffed too now that their children arrive home without a spot of mud to be seen!
