Musical grass… Perfectly Green at Glastonbury!Posted on: 18th June, 2013
Renowned for muddy fields and wellington boots, Glastonbury is the biggest event on the year’s festival calendar. After having been off for a year (ironically to allow the grass to grow), this year’s event saw a stunning return to form for this world famous event. Not one’s to miss out on the party and because our artificial grass is as rock and roll as artificial grass can be, Perfectly Green made an appearance this year thanks to the BBC. Used as the floor covering for the BBC’s TV presentation area, our Norfolk grass was used to protect those expensive shoes and trainers of some of the festivals biggest artists. Check out the pictures below to see the whole set, expertly crafted and designed by Blee Design.
Of course, artificial grass is commonly used for not only film and TV sets, but also for exhibition spaces, presentation areas and theatres. Here at Perfectly Green its incredibly simple for us to supply artificial turf for these purposes, its a simple case of cutting to your required size and sending it to your delivery address. At Glastonbury, the artificial grass was installed by the set designers themselves, however we can also offer the required installation of the grass, as you may have seen us do very recently at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. If you have an event or set that you’d like to turf with artificial grass then please give us a call, or even order a free sample of artificial grass and we’ll happily help.
