New artificial grass training area for Crayford Arrows Football Club

We recently supplied our Corvette 30mm synthetic turf for a superb training project at Crayford Arrows Football Club, in Bexleyheath, Dartford, which was expertly managed, prepared, and installed by Planet Turf who provide a wide range of domestic and commercial landscaping services across London and the Southeast.
The before and after images below show just how much the site has been restored by the installation!
Marc Petters, Director and owner of Planet Turf said, “We were asked to renew the artificial grass sports pitch for a local grass roots football club. Grass roots football is close to my heart having 3 children that play it so we gave the club a very competitive price to help out our local team. I am pleased to say the pitch was installed in time for the up-and-coming season and is already hosting hundreds of kids per week.”
Kristian Smith, also a Director and owner of Planet Turf, coordinated the logistics with Perfectly Green once their client had instructed them to proceed. He said “On confirmation of winning this project we contacted our sole supplier of artificial grass, Perfectly Green, who were great at recommending suitable products, which they have previously done for similar jobs. Samples were supplied and agreed with no fuss. We took the grass over two deliveries because of the size of the job and both deliveries were delivered exactly when they were supposed to, which enabled us to hit our completion date".
For this project, and to create a superb visual appearance, Planet Turf fitters installed the Corvette rolls in opposite directions throughout the playing area. The players will love playing on this surface! Artificial grass provides a fantastic low maintenance option for training areas as it can be used throughout the year, keeping users fit, healthy, and ready for action. We see more and more parents creating a football or play area in their own gardens to help keep their children active. Getting kids into a healthy mindset is very important for development and future health!
