St Andrews, a little primary school with a tucked-away play area, needed a bit of TLC on the space for the children to play. New play area equipment had been ordered, ready for installation but the area for it to go on to was less inspired.

Originally, they had, had natural grass. Which, after years of children playing, heavy footfall, maintenance, and weather conditions, had mostly deteriorated. The grass was so sparse, it was no longer a green area but a brown, muddy surface.

It was imperative that they had a soft surface area for the children’s play area, as children are prone to bumps, scrapes and falls, and as a new play area equipment was going in, there needed to be a soft surface.

This is where we liaised with them on the installation of artificial grass. Our approved install agents were able to lay the turf in, cutting neatly to all surrounding edges and frames, nestling the play equipment around and within the greenery of the artificial turf beautifully.

Our Mystique artificial grass product was chosen for this wonderful playground project, a super soft and very dense grass with 4 different coloured yarns, giving it a very natural look. An excellent addition to any play area or playground that will get a lot of use and footfall.
