At Perfectly Green we’re really proud of the work that we do and spend a lot of time and effort on making everything look as perfect as possible. Given that, the best reward for us is always when someone recommends us to another (hint hint, please recommend us!). That was how we originally came across our number 3 school installation of 2012 at a first school in Sussex. With our name passed on by a very happy county council customer, the pressure was on but our lads stepped right up to the plate!
You can see from the ‘before’ picture that the outdoor area was feeling a bit of a lack of love and neglect before our arrival. Even on a lovely summer day it still looked a mess (the customer won’t mind us saying that!) and it certainly didn’t strike anyone as an environment safe for children. So our work began as you’d expect with a big clearance job, working for some time on clearing the bushes and raising the existing turf.
Once the area was cleared, we laid down the customers chosen Hampshire turf over the 371 square metre area. Of course, this took a little longer than its taken to read here, with the length of the job extending to about 2 weeks from start to finish. What we loved about this job though as much as anything else was that it gave us a chance to extend our work into other services to really provide the customer with a complete package. Our lads revitalised the vegetable patch with a handy footpath surrounding it to keep the area tidy and safe for the school children. They also installed an extra fence and worked alongside another supplier to install a rubber wetpour area. The lucky children got the whole nine yards from their school!
A very successful job with a very happy collection of customers at the end of it! Give us a call if you’d like to know any more about this job, otherwise stay tuned for more our number 2 job of 2012 coming soon…
